FAQ

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions I get...

Q: Do you offer trials? What happens at a trial? Do I need to bring anything?

A: Of course I do! Trials allow you to see what your dream hair & makeup will look like on yourself & most importantly helps us decide what suits you best. Sometimes brides hold onto a specific bridal picture they like but once seeing it on themselves, decide it's just not for them. That's when the trial comes in handy... we get to play around with a couple of styles & looks you've been thinking about and customize your hair/makeup to your specific needs, likings & desires. A trial session also gives me the chance to come up with a plan on how to specifically go about doing your hair/makeup which will ensure everything runs smoothly on your special day.
When planning on coming to a trial, please make sure to bring plenty of pictures of ideas you may have. Also, don't forget to bring any accessories, veils, hair pieces, etc. that you may want to use the day of your event. It may also be helpful to wear a top that is in similar color to the outfit/dress you will be wearing.

Q: I am very interested in booking you for hair &/or makeup for my wedding including a bride & bridesmaids. What do I need to do?

A: If you would like to do a trial, please set one up at your earliest convenience as space may be limited. Trials are best booked 4-6 weeks before your event, but don't worry, we may be able to book last minute trials as well depending on availability.
In order to book your spot, a deposit of 50% of the total day-of balance is required. We will both sign an agreement and go over any further details. Most brides like to take care of this during their trial session, but if you opt to not do one, we can definitely take care of it by mail.

Q: What if I don't know for sure how many people will be needing your services for my event, but I know I want to book you for myself?

A: We can definitely book you by signing an agreement and putting a deposit down for your own services. Please try to find out about the rest of your party as soon as you can. I need a head count of the exact number of people requiring services no later than 14 days before the event. This will allow me to plan accordingly for your day as well as gives me notice on whether I will require an assistant or not. Once you know the total headcount, a deposit of 50% of their total in services will be needed as well.

Q: What condition should my hair be like on the day of my trial/event?

A: Hair is best washed the day before. Also, please make sure to have DRY hair unless otherwise asked for by me. You should also be ready with a clean face. =)
